I have gotten news that the summer issue of the IOLI bulletin has been delayed due to health issues.  The editor is now working with the publisher to get it out, so I would expect that it should show up soon.

I just received word from the coordinator of the "CRAFT: Beers & Trades" event at Old Sturbridge Village and they are looking forward to our participation again this year (Saturday & Sunday September 10th & 11th).  If you would like to participate and have not yet registered, please go to the Calendar entry for this event and do so.

Got the following message from Marni's husband after I saw that her biker friends had made her a quilt from their tee-shirts.

Marni had a very serious bike accident back in October 2015 and fractured her skull. She has been in Rehabilitation ever since. Her biking friends made the quilt for her as a get well present. This is her husband Phil.

Many of you will know of Radmila, and others have been fortunate to meet her and  take a class. A great loss to the Lacemaking community.

I made a trip to the post office today and bought some lacy looking stamps.  While they are not in the same class as the ones in the 80's, if you want a lacy looking stamp, they are available.

If you were thinking about entering the Big E but held back because you weren't sure how you would get your beautiful lace there, relax.  I will once again be taking items out to Springfield.  So go ahead and enter (it's only $5 per item!), and plan on connecting with me to make the transfer.  And good luck to all!
