Sad news

I'm sorry to have to report that Father Stan Kolasa of Sacred Hearts Retreat Center passed away on December 2.  An obituary is posted on the Sacred Hearts website.

Lace in Wareham is canceled for December, but Sacred Hearts' annual Christmas Open House will be held as planned on Sunday, December 11 from 1 - 5 p.m.

    Those of us who went to the NELG retreats in recent years had the opportunity to meet Fr. Stan. His love of life was evident to all. We will remember him well.

    It is indeed a great loss to us and his community. I always found his homilies to be full of love and worth hearing; his paintings also evoke this love of life at its most colorful.
