Sad news - Barbara McGuire

It is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of long time NELG member and former NELG President, Barb McGuire. Barb passed away on August 19. Her son, Kevin, put together a tribute to her on YouTube: https://youtu.be/kB_fLnr-IwI

    What a lovely tribute. I remember Barbara from my early days with NELG. I loved her sense of humor and her generosity to a new lacemaker was much appreciated. May her memory be a blessing. -- Bryce

    A great loss! A lovely tribute!
    Barb's persistence in playing the piano and organ and making lace in the face of the extreme arthritis in her hands was nothing short of inspiring! How appropriate that most of her photos showed her beautiful smile!
