The library opens at 10:30 a.m., so please come early to visit with your lace making friends. This will be our Annual Meeting where we will elect the President and Member-at-Large and Treasurer. The business meeting will start promptly at 11:00 a.m. Please register for this event so that we know you are planning to attend. If you can not attend, please send in your proxy vote which was included in the May 2013 newsletter.
We will need to vacate the library no later than 12:45, but after the business meeting we will have our Spring "Lace In" and a raffle for lacy door prizes!
We will also entertain the daughter of a past lacemaker from the Massachusetts area. Her mother was a skilled lacemaker in the French tradition - several Le Puy pillows, Le Puy and continental bobbins, etc. will be for sale.
Don't forget we have a "Show and Tell" table at each monthly meeting that takes place in Sturbridge. Members are encouraged to bring a fiber-related project that they have recently finished to show to the group, and to declare some bragging rights!
