NELG 30th Anniversary Luncheon

You are cordially invited to attend the New England Lace Group's 30th Anniversary Luncheon.

Come and meet with members and lace enthusiasts like yourself; meet your friends and make new ones.

Our event will be held in the new Avellino Room of the Duck & Swan Restaurant on Main Street in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.

We will begin the day at 11:30am with a meet and greet and then be invited into lunch to begin promptly at 12:30pm. Choices for lunch have been specially planned for our occasion. You have a choice of a soft drink; salad or soup; the main course will be a Mediterranean Haddock, Grilled Chicken Breast or a Spring Vegetable Primavera*. Of course, there will be a dessert tray with coffee and tea, and a cash bar.

This year's event will include a presentation by Lauran Sundin. Some of you that attended IOLI this summer had the distinct opportunity to meet Lauran . She is a renowned artisan whose innovations on traditional lace-making techniques have garnered awards and exhibitions world-wide. Her work has been seen in major trade publications, like IOLI's front cover in the Fall of 2011 with her piece called "Born on the Fourth of July".  She conducted a workshop and exhibited last year at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, Australia and a little closer to home, she took the 2012 2nd place in Jewelry and metals at the Coconut Grove Art Fair in Florida.

There will be plenty of time to visit with each other and a chance to see this year's award winning entries from the Big E.
