The library opens at 10:30 a.m., so please come early to visit with your lace making friends. The business meeting will start promptly at 11 a.m. Please register for this event so that we know you are planning to attend.
Don't forget we have a
"Show and Tell" table at each monthly meeting that takes place in Sturbridge. Members are encouraged to bring a fiber-related project that they have recently finished to show to the group, and to declare some bragging rights!
Program
Our program this month will be “Art as Relaxation | Art as Meditation” presented by Sadelle Wiltshire and Ann Coakley, who are both Certified Zentangle® Teachers. There will be a $5 material charge for those who wish to participate.
Zentangle is an easy to learn method of creating beautiful images from structured patterns. Fun and relaxing, Zentangle helps increase focus and creativity, provides artistic satisfaction and an increased sense of personal well being and calm. A wonderful practice for both the non-artist and artist alike, if you can write your name, you can create magical art!
