  • 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Joshua Hyde Public Library, Sturbridge, MA

Registration

  • Attendance at monthly meetings is free to members. Newcomers and guests are always welcome!

Registration is closed
The library opens at 10:30 a.m., so please come early to visit with your lace making friends.   There will be a formal business meeting this month, so please register for this event so that we know you are planning to attend.

Don't forget we have a "Show and Tell" table at each monthly meeting that takes place in Sturbridge.  Members are encouraged to bring a fiber-related project that they have recently finished to show to the group, and to declare some bragging rights!

Program: Bobbin lace pattern building - Knipling

Presented by NELG member Jim Martin. This month Jim will give us a look at the bobbin lace pattern creation software "Knipling 3.0". This software allows the user to design, save and print both patterns and prickings for many types of bobbin lace including Torchon, Flanders, Paris, Point Ground, Russian, Bloemwerk, Rosaline and free lace. This will be a quick look and overview of some of the features of the software. It is not intended to teach you how to use the software, but rather to allow you to determine if it is something you may like to pursue further.
