The library opens at 10:30 a.m., so please come early to visit with your lace making friends. There will be a formal business meeting this month, so please register for this event so that we know you are planning to attend.
Don't forget we have a "Show and Tell" table at each monthly meeting that takes place in Sturbridge. Members are encouraged to bring a fiber-related project that they have recently finished to show to the group, and to declare some bragging rights!
Program: Novelty fabrics and lace
Need a little more variety in your bookmarks and coasters? A more contemporary or casual look? Something to do with those small lengths of lace or tatting? Come play with novelty fabrics and iron-on bonding. Let’s share our creativity!
Some fabrics, bonding interfacings, and an iron will be supplied. There will also be some tatting and mini-lace patterns to consider. You are encouraged to bring your own laces, lace ideas, books, novelty prints, threads, etc. – anything you think might contribute to our activity and get you started.
NELG member Bryce Wolf will lead this program. Please register so we will have some idea of how many to expect.
