I'm sorry to have to report that Father Stan Kolasa of Sacred Hearts Retreat Center passed away on December 2.  An obituary is posted on the Sacred Hearts website.

Lace in Wareham is canceled for December, but Sacred Hearts' annual Christmas Open House will be held as planned on Sunday, December 11 from 1 - 5 p.m.

Marjorie found a link to a video on lace in Puerto Rico, https://vimeo.com/21796393 .  For those who may be unaware, there has been a lace tradition in Puerto Rico for a long time, and IOLI once held a convention there.  I found the video well worth watching.  Enjoy.

I had a call from Sister Claire at Sacred Hearts this afternoon; unfortunately she has to cancel lace in Wareham this month.  Father Stan is not well and has some medical appointments.  I don't have particulars at the moment but will share them when/if I can.  

If you are and IOLI member and have been awaiting your delayed summer bulleting, I have received mine a couple days ago.  I have also seen that other people have received their copies.  If you have not received yours, it should be in you mailbox very soon.
