Wini Blacklow put me onto this wonderful artist in needlelace/mixed media. Take a look: truly inspirational use of traditional materials! You don't have to do needlelace to enjoy them.

    Yes! Her work is amazing. One was on display in the "Lace, Not Lace" exhibit last year, and I've seen another in person in a private collection. Very creative.

    Yes, this is a very impressive artist who takes lace from craft to art. She has a wonderful creativity sense in translating everyday scenes into art. I would also recommend following the link in the article to her personal website. The galleries are stunning. Given the number of works she does in a year, she is a very busy person.
