TV Interview on Lace!!

April 08, 2014 11:02 PM | Deleted user

It's done - well almost done - on April 21st is the taping of the tv program Common Sense Connecticut. I will be interviewed for 30 minutes on Lace!  While it is a local tv station, once it is uploaded everyone will be able to tune in via the internet.

Does anyone have any additional questions I can give the interviewer ??  He doesn't think we could talk about lace for 30 minutes.....  I told him I could talk about it for 30 days!

Thanks in advance !  I'll post the link as soon as I get it.

PS  One great thing about this show - it is posted to the various cable / at&t venues, so therefore we can get some coverage about our love of lace

Great. You asked for questions; plug our demonstrating areas, and how we can help historical societies, and where people can learn lace making, etc. Do you have our map of lace? That would look good on camera.

I'm glad you're getting to do this. I can't wait to see it.

Winann - great question - I'll add it to the outline for the interviewer.
I don't have the map - though I do have a pic file - it may work though I"m not sure it has high enough def to see the details on a tv screen. Thanks again

Way to go Patty! This reminds me of when I was interviewed and filmed by a Western MA TV station when I lived in Wilbraham. The camera crew were at the house for over 3 hours and after editing it turned out to be about 2 minutes on the evening news. Oh well. That was my 5 seconds of fame :-)

Thanks Jill... that's 2 minutes of fame!! Provided the lace community views this film.... then I/we have a chance to come back to do this show again.... then on to launching the lace series. No matter what - me and Gary, the interviewer, need to keep talking for 30 minutes!!
