Winter arrived

Just in time for NELG's first meeting in 2012, Mother Nature decided it was time once again to see some measurable snow!

Unfortunately our day together needed to be cancelled.  Everyone should have received the email last evening.   I was off to the post office this morning and glad we were not on the road today.  It was quite slippery and we had only about an inch.

Since many of you will have this New England storm, I hope that you will use the day to enjoy your lace as if we were together in Sturbridge.

Soup is on at my place, enjoy your day!

    Patty,

With modern weather forecasting, we could see this one coming early on. Oh well, it is just one of those things living in New England. I suppose it is a good day to work on my dragon lace (I am celebrating the year of the dragon this year with lace) and watch the fire, wood courtesy of Mother Nature who insisted in knocking down some of my trees this year.

    Happy lacing,
    Sharon

We will be looking forward to seeing your dragon lace! Maybe next month.

Keep well and Happy Lacing to you

Good call, Patty - the roads were pretty bad up here in Western MA (but not bad enough to keep my husband and kids from getting to the ski slopes).
