Cecil Higgins Gallery re-opening

December 12, 2012 3:41 PM | Anonymous
The Aragon Lacemakers in Bedford are creating a lace version of John Bunyan's cottage as part of the exhibition for the re-opening of the Cecil Higgins Gallery in Bedford in the Spring of 2013.  Members of the lace group have been asked to make lace bricks to be used in the 'building'.  Here is my completed brick.

Glad to see it is done! Great job and when the house is built - we need pictures!

Thanks Mary! Patty, my sister-in-law and I got together last Friday to work the filling, which went very quickly since I had diagrammed how to work the open circles (which were a little funky). There is no date yet for the re-opening of the museum, but rest assured that I will be there with my camera!
